Understanding the EEA/EU Family Permit and EUSS Family Permit
The EEA/EU Family Permit, also known as the EEA Family visa or EU Family visa, allows non-EEA family members of EEA nationals to join their loved ones in the UK. This permit is designed to facilitate family reunification, providing various benefits including the right to work, study, and eventually settle in the UK.

What is the EUSS Family Permit?
The EUSS Family Permit is part of the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) and allows non-EEA family members of EEA nationals who are residing in the UK to join them. This permit offers similar benefits and is crucial for maintaining family unity and stability. Winning this award twice reflects our unwavering dedication to serving our clients with professionalism, integrity, and expert guidance. Whether you're applying for a UK visa, seeking British citizenship, or facing a visa refusal, our OISC-accredited team, led by Mr. Yasar Razaq, is committed to delivering exceptional results.

EU Family Permit Case Study
Our client left Kenya when she was fourteen and moved to the United Kingdom. She constantly visited Kenya, where she got to see her fiancé, they were childhood sweethearts. They and their families decided they will marry once she complete her university education. They booked the tickets for may 2020 but flights were cancelled due to Covid-19. They had married via proxy.
When they submitted an application to the Home Office. Their application was refused due to the marriage not being legally recognised. We then represented them to the Home Office; our arguments included:
- The marriage was legally recognised in Kenya therefore valid under Regulation 7 of Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations Act 2016.
- The sponsor was exercising treaty rights under Regulation 6 of Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations Act 2016.
We advised our client in regard to supporting documents and we had provided a cover letter explaining the circumstances. An application was successful on our first attempt!
